Bundles in stock, EU friendly shipping, new TLB module
Hey folks!
As the 2023 bundles (Fallen, CY_BORG) have started shipping to pre-order backers, I’ve put them back in stock. The good news is that for all in-house bundles we now have three inventories: US, UK, and last but not least EU!
This means: if you’re a EU customer you can get the bundles without having to deal with customs, import or VAT. Hassle-free bundles!
On top of this the bundles are 10% OFF for a limited time, so now is a good time to get ‘em.
FALLEN BUNDLE
Rulebook + setting + campaign handbook + cards + handouts
https://www.thelostbaystudio.com/products/fallen-bundle
Investigate haunted mills. Holdover in cider-serving taverns, seeking the headless apparition terrorizing the countryside. Hunt werewolves through the night—all with the Fallen Bundle!
CY_BER Bundle
7 pamphlets + 1 zine + 1 blueprint + 1 NPC card
https://www.thelostbaystudio.com/products/cy_ber-bundle
High octane, psychedelic collection of cyber weird adventures. 7 pamphlets, a dungeon-map, a full zine adventure, and a NPC card, for the iconic cyberpunk game CY_BORG.
If you’re a 2023 pre-order backer give it a couple of weeks for your bundle to reach you. Fulfillment centers are dealing with large volumes and it might take them a while to process everything.
The Lost Bay RPG Crowdfunding is near
Scoop: we’ll be going live in the second half of March.
I’ll reveal more info about the full contents in a next issue of The Dispatch, but today I’m super excited to share two cool things: the cover art and layout for Heterogony of Ends, a module written by Watt (designer of Cloud Empress) that will be included in one of the campaign rewards.
Heterogony of Ends is a mellow and eerie module about flesh pods, skulking kids, and flesh mothers. Something is changing The Lost Bay and its inhabitants, will you be affected as well? This module is beyond good, and I can’t wait to run it. As always, the art is by Evangeline Gallagher. Look at this!
I’ve finished putting together the campaign Stretch Goals. They’re mostly focused on providing support and tools to the players/GMs/designers. Language accessibility is a big thing for me and we’re working on quickstarts and content in several languages.
Consider this a teaser, when the KS page is live I’ll reveal the full list of creators involved.
An expanding community
One stretch goal I’m particularly excited about, is the Creator Fund. The Lost Bay community has been of immense support particularly in the last year, and want to give back. The Creator Fund will help indie designers/publishers fund development or production of TLB compatible modules. It’s inspired by the fund Watt put together for Cloud Empress.
The community is expanding, more people are playing and writing for The Lost Bay which is super exciting! I’m always in awe when I read new 3rd party creator modules, like Make Haste East released by Caelin Araven. It features an ominous radio tower, and brainwashing radio ads. Reader of The Dispatch, go check it out, I’m sure you’ll like it.
Other The Lost Bay RPG news
The Urban Legend Jam has been extended until the end of the year, at least. The idea is to make it a never ending jam, providing an easy entry point for new TLB designers, and a cool way to meet the community. Be sure to check the jam entries, I use them regularly to run Deep Water, a west-marshes like campaign. Basically this jam is like a huge spark table of highly creative content. The recent Matt Franklin, Mirror Person by xiombarg is particularly tasty.
In the discord server Justin Vandermeer and other members of the community have sparked a sub-jam, or collective project called Camden 90 inspired by a real estate 3D virtual visit of a gigantic building for sale. Some folks are working on a mega dungeon and/or a collection of solo modules to be sold for charity.
In a nutshell: a lot is happening in the server, you should come and take a look https://discord.com/invite/37XBQVr7eP
That’s all I got for you today folks.
I’ll have a coffee and edit the next podcast episode, yes TLB podcast is about to come back! We have three new episodes to be released. If you’re not familiar with the show you can catch up with previous episodes https://www.thelostbaystudio.com/pages/podcast
