RESTOCKS
WONDERFUL NEWS!
We have restocked our bestsellers.

MIRU by Hinokodo — solarpunk solo game blending journaling and hex exploration.
SHIPPING
It’s getting colder in the northern hemisphere, and like cute furry mammals, we’ll hibernate for a few days at The Lost Bay Studio. Shipping will be suspended between December 19th and January the 3rd.
Oh, but we’ll be busy during that break, foraging more cool zines and preparing more bundles. Speaking of which…
MORE BUNDLES COMING
In the last two months, we’ve released two bundles: the Emiel Boven Bundle and the Mörk Borg–compatible Wicked Wanderers Winter Bundle.
Both were super well received, and I had a lot of fun putting them together. I’ve launched the store to bring tabletop RPG enthusiasts zines and games by cool designers, and to support emerging creatives. And I’d love to continue doing so.
I’m already working on several exciting bundles for next year. But before launching the next project, I'd like to hear from you. What kind of bundle would fill you with excitement? What kind of bundle have you been awaiting for a long time?
Will you answer a couple of questions? It’ll take you less than a minute, and it’ll help me provide the best possible service to the community, here’s the form.
NEW PODCAST EPISODE
Need to escape somewhere during the winter break? Why don’t you listen to a super-cool podcast episode with the creators of Mörk Borg: Johan Nohr and Pelle Nilsson? In this interview, we talk about the two designers’ creative strategies, the Swedish alternative to Dungeons and Dragons, Nostradamus’s prophecies, historical vampires, an incredible set of character generators, font sourcing, and how to succeed at creating a masterful visual style.
NANO GAMES
The winter break is coming. You’ll probably meet friends, relatives, and also that person who keeps asking every time you meet “what are those weird games you play again?” Looking for a super-simple tabletop RPG you can play while cutting a cake, or on a bar counter? Why Carbon Offset? So for us, we think it’s important to leave the earth better than we found it. We really don’t want to be ‘just another brand that makes stuff’. That’s why, as best we can, all of our products are compostable, biodegradable, made with recycled materials, and/or made to last a lifetime (like our dice and enamel pins). So we do our best to begin with, but the current state of our world and capitalism is in love with oil, and so unfortunately there’s just no escape from creating products that are truly carbon negative (at least not yet).

That’s all for today. I’ve got some layout design to do on a coloring book RPG, and I have to make myself a hot chocolate. Enjoy the end of the year, and take care,
