Two new podcast episodes, and campaign news
Hey dear readers of The Dispatch!
We’re just one week after The Lost Bay campaign launch on Kickstarter, and we’ve been burning through stretch goals. This is just unbelievable.
First of all, let me thank you all Bayers for the extraordinary show of support. As most of you know, this project is very dear to me. It means a lot to be able to bring it to print, thank you!
Yesterday we unblocked the seventh Stretch Goal: Spanish quickstart (translated by La Esquina del Rol), Mexican inspired mini setting (by Irvin Morales), and Canadian-forever-snowy mini setting by Wren The Forrester.
IRVIN MORALES
Add another spike to your jacket and crank up the volume as you traverse the most bizarre places in "Los Barrios," a Mini-setting for La Bahía Olvidada/The Lost Bay. Play as the new "Chamuco" Vibe, wielding powerful Psychokinesis. Join or overthrow "los gatos," a street punk gang led by the living saint "La rata," and generate every place and detail on the spot with the new urban crawling rules.
Irvin’s setting will be available in both English and Spanish, isn’t that cool?!
WREN THE FORRESTER
Winters in the Bay are hard. This winter’s been even harder. Everything is closed off, isolated. Nothing works anymore, and it's getting worse. The Saints of Summer have gone away, hibernating beneath the ice in tombs and basements, warehouses and coffins. The Winter Saints rise in their stead, bringing with them a new sort of Weirdness.
Next up we have a really cool Stretch Goal: the Digital Suburb by Jacob Marks, aka, a point-crawl generator. Jacob has put together a fantastic generator for the space fantasy game Vaarn, the Vaarn Atlas. Since I’ve seen it, I’ve been secretly hoping to be able to commission a similar tool for The Lost Bay.
Fresh media from youtube and the podcasting world.
