EU sales are live + 10% discount
Salut, ciao, hola, hej, Grüß dich!
We’ve resumed sales to EU folks! To celebrate the good news, all physical items are 10% off on The Lost Bay Studio store until next Sunday (EU and European orders)
If you’re in the EU, I know how you might feel. Importing from the UK may seem a bit daunting because of customs and VAT – what a headache! But don’t worry, we take care of all of that for you. If you buy from us: Customs paperwork? CHECK. VAT prepaid? CHECK. Just get your zine and enjoy? CHECK.
Oh BTW, if you’re in the US, while tariffs remain suspended as they are now, we’ll keep the 10% OFF discount rolling for US orders. Grab your zine goodness NOW!
Fresh Horror in Space
We have two brand new products from Dave Kenny aka Magnum Galaxy Games, a Canadian designer and Mothership rising star. Yes, Dave has been putting out amazing MoSh material, creating and expanding an implied space horror setting with each new zine.
Jump on the store and grab Nirvana on Fire Extended Edition – your ticket for Bodhisattva 2a, a moon where an AI religious zealot will probably try to murder you – AND snag the Magnum Galaxy Megabundle to get your load of space horrors and a nice void-proof holding silvery sleeve.
WARNING: LIMITED COPIES AVAILABLE
If you need more Mothership zines, browse our collection here.
Podcast Episode Drop: I Don’t Belong Here
The first episode of a combo dedicated to Liminal Horror, the modern horror RPG you’re all familiar with. In this episode, I talk with Adam Station about I Don’t Belong Here, a horror Sparkbook inspired by Radiohead's music. Adam is best known for designing modern horror RPGs with a surreal twist. Their games and modules have two unique features. First, they are heavily procedural, based mostly on tables and nested tables. Second, they are inspired by modern and contemporary music, to the point that some are partially sampled from song lyrics and titles.

Outer Rim Uprising Update
Although I’m updating the ORU backers mostly via Kickstarter, I wanted to share some news and pics here. The bundle production is proceeding while I try and dodge the difficulties of modern times – from logistics to tariff uncertainty, to shortage of paper supply (because of tariffs), to me being a slow designer. I think the bundle looks fantastic, and I hope you’ll get an “Oh, it was worth the wait!” moment when you receive it. That said, let’s move on to a few pics.
Last week I received the solo card O.R.A.C.L.E. by Alfred Valley. It looks fantastic, like everything Alfred does. It’s printed on nice, recycled thick stock, and besides being a great gaming asset, it’s something I’m seriously considering framing and hanging in my studio.
Among the things I received with the latest batch from the printer, I got lots of
's zines, and I just realized the bundle contains five items by Chris. Chris is continuously putting out amazing MoSh content. And, like Dave Kenny mentioned earlier, their catalog is building a MoSh sub-universe with recurring factions, focused on the clash between corpos and space workers: poor PCs sweating for a handful of creds. And finally, although it still needs some fiddling, below is a peek at the Warden Screen laid out by Jean Verne (who also does the layout of the Campaign Handbook, which has reached the wild page count of 60 PAGES!).

There’s still a bit of time left to preorder the bundle; you can snag it here: Outer Rim Uprising Preorder.
I Could Use Your Feedback
You’ve reached the bottom of the newsletter – good, thank you! I could use your feedback. It’s been four years since I started The Lost Bay Podcast, which I believe has an unusual approach to games. It’s not so much about the games themselves, but more about their creators, their working habits, idiosyncrasies, and tools. As media production (video, documentaries) is my core job, I’ve been considering expanding The Lost Bay Podcast and YouTube channel. So, if you've got just one minute, I’ve got two questions for you.
Question 1: Would you like it if I interviewed non-RPG creators, like novelists, filmmakers, or comic artists? People who craft imaginary worlds in other media than TTRPGs? If yes, who would you like to hear on the show?
Question 2: A few years ago I released a short video essay (specifically about RPGs and suburbs). Would you like to see more of that kind of video – in-depth dives into RPG or fiction-related themes? If yes, would you like to let me know what you’d like me to cover?
Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond!
That’s all I’ve got for you today. Enjoy your Sunday! Iko
I stumbled upon your store and it is one of the most interesting collections of experiences I've seen in a while. Keep on keeping on!
Yes and yes!
